Where Actors & Directors TRAIN for
the Screen in the 21st Century*

Stonestreet Studios is a film & screen acting school as well as a producing organization located in the Flatiron District of midtown Manhattan in New York City. The Stonestreet Screen Acting Workshop ("SSAW"), an integral part of our organization, is an advanced drama conservatory of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Drama Department. Our mission is to TRAIN actors in the art of screen and film acting - something markedly different than stage acting - by transcending previously learned techniques within an environment of a working production company that draws on the SSAW student body and the professional community to create filmed entertainment in all it's genres

Terri received her Master’s Degree from New York University in 1997 to become a licensed psychotherapist. New York University is one of the top schools in the country for clinical psychotherapy training. Its unique curriculum offered Terri the invaluable experience of learning directly from the leaders in the field of Psychotherapy. Terri credits her steady and continued success, in private practice to the principals and insights she gained from this intensive, arduous, and hands on clinical education.

Prior to receiving her Master’s Degree, Terri was a successful talent agent in New York and Los Angeles for 10 years. In many ways this was an experience that inspired her desire to become a therapist. Terri has also been an acting teacher at Stonestreet Studios/ New York University Tisch School of the Arts for the past 9 years. Currently working with young actors she has developed an inspiring approach to teaching which involves a combination of psychodynamic principles, personal empowerment and an in depth insight into what it takes to be a healthy working actor.

Terri lives in the New York Berkshires with her husband Victor, who is a successful illustrator and she is the proud mom to three great sons Max, Alex and Ben.
