Stonestreet Studios is a FILM acting school, or more accurately, a SCREEN acting school and conservatory as well as a multi-service educational entertainment and internet institution comprising several enterprises including the Stonestreet Screen Acting Workshop as well as a fully-operating television production and post-production facility. We teach FILM and SCREEN acting AS A CRAFT. We are located in the Flatiron District of midtown Manhattan in New York City. The Stonestreet Screen Acting Workshop is one of the advanced drama conservatories of New York University's Drama Department.

ANGELA PIETROPINTO

Angela Pietropinto portrayed Mrs. Weiner, the other from hell, in Welcome To The Dollhouse, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival. At present, she has two films, Finding North and Above Freezing, each being shown at festivals around the country. Other film credits include Nobody's Fool, It Could Happen to You, Honeymoon in Vegas, Goodfellas, Veronica and Me, So Fine, Exorcist 1990, Heartburn, Without a Trace, Grace Quigley, Easy Money, Running on Empty, and Nunzio.

Angela was a founding member of The Manhattan Project Theater Company under the direction of Andre Gregory and played the title role of their Obie-winning production of Alice in Wonderland. She has subsequently appeared in over 25 Boradway and Off-Broadway plays. She made her Broadway debut opposite Derek Jacobi in The Suicide. She returned to Broadway to cover and go in for Anne Meara in Eastern Standard. As understudy, she recently performed all three female roles in Anne Meara's After Play and eventually joined the company in the role of Emily.

Angela has appeared on television in Kojak, Legwork, The Equalizer, Here and Now, Law and Order, New York Undercover, The Cosby Show, and appeared in the HBO movie Path to Paradise. She has beeen on all New York soaps and was a regular on All My Children, One Life to Live and Another World. She recently filmed the CBS pilot Second Opinion.

Angela has a Bachelor of Arts from New York University in English and Drama, and a Master of Fine Arts from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She has taught at Yale Drama School, Classical Stage Company's Conservatory, and is presently on the faculty of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She also teaches in educational out-reach programs for Lincoln Center Institute, The Manhattan Theater Club, and the TDF Stage Doors Project. She coaches privately and was an acting consultant for the MTV sitcom Apt. 2F starring the Sklar Brothers.

Angela's directorial credits include Pirandello's Cap and Bells for the Classical Stage Company, and plays by Joe Pintauro for the Kraine Theater.

Angela recently joined the faculty of the Stonestreet Film & Television Acting Workshop where she now has the opportunity to teach acting students in a fully-operating teleproduction and post-production studio.
