Stonestreet
Studios is a full-service television production and post-production
facility in the Flatiron District of Midtown Manhattan in
New York City. Stonestreet contains several studios, a soundstage,
a casting room, a forty-five seat audience, a video control
room, a post-production editing room and a light and sound
booth cabled to a light grid in each studio. The following
is a detailed description of the facility.

All
studios have 42-inch plasma screens.
In addition, Studio A has a high-def projector
with a 100-inch screen.
Studio A can be used as a screening room,
which we rent out for that purpose
at $250 per hour.

Studio
A contains forty-five raked seats facing a stage with
dimensions of 16 ft. by 30 ft. Ceiling height is approximately
11.5 ft. The stage contains a full light grid and is controlled
by a 48 dimmer board from the light booth. The stage can
be viewed directly or by a video camera which is attached
to the grid.
The
cameras are on Sachtler pedestals and are cabled to the
Video Control Room. The cameras are Sony DXC327s.

B

Studio
B is a sound-secure carpeted soundstage with dimensions
of 17 ft. by 30 ft. The stage contains a full light grid
controlled by a 48 dimmer board from the light booth.
A variety of 9 ft. background papers hang from rollers
on the grid, including bluescreen and greenscreen backgrounds,
as well as hand-painted motifs.
The camera is on a Sachtler pedestal and is cabled to
a rack in the room, as well as being patchable to the
Video Control Room. The camera is a Sony DXC3000a.
The rack also includes a DVD recorder
deck.
Studio
C
Studio
C is a small carpeted casting room and photo studio containing
a light grid, 9 ft. background papers on rollers, a video
rack containing a DVD recorder deck and VHS decks cabled
to a Sony DXC 3000 video camera.
Studio C is rentable at $75 per hour.
Studios
D and E
Studios
D and E are on the fifth floor facing 21st Street, each
room containing a 42-inch plasma screen with a Sony DVD
recorder and Mackie mixer. We also have cameras for you
to reent such as the Panasonic DVX100B mini-DV cameras.
Studios
D and E are attached to a Blue Room which has large couches
and counters. There is also an office with a telephone,
computer, internet access and printing capabilities.
Studios
D and E are each rentable for $75 per hour (two hour minimum).
But you can rent the entire fifth floor complex with the
privacy it provides and the common areas and office for
$200 per hour with a two hour minimum.

A and Studio B Camera Rental
Additional Fees to Above Room Rates
In
addition to the rental rates quoted above, if customer
desires to rent one or more of our Sony 3000A video
cameras which are cabled to a video control room, or
our Sony DXC637a camera which is cabled to a Betacam/VHS
rack, the additional rental is $30 per hour.
This rental rate applies to three or fewer cameras in
the aggregate. No camera operators are supplied with
this price. However, customer is required to hire our
control room operator at a day rate of $250 which includes
up to 9 hours (with a one-hour lunch break).
The
per hour rate for the video control room operator is
$50 per hour after the 9 hours. If the rental with the
video control operator is for less than 9 hours, than
the operator is billed at $60 per hour at a four-hour
minimum.
There
is a two-hour minimum regarding this camera rental.
Video
Control Room
The
Video Control Room contains the following recording
formats: Beta SP, DVD recroder, and VHS. Multiple cameras
from either Studio A or Studio B are cabled to the Video
Control Room where they run through a Sony DFS 500 special
effects component switcher with over 300 effects, as
well as an Orion character generator for live generation
of credits. The room has the capacity for wired or wireless
microphone links, as well as wireless intercoms for
communication with camera operators and stage assistants.
Post
A - Description
Post
A contains nonlinear editing equipment. The record deck
is a Sony PVW2800 Beta SP deck and the source decks
is one Sony UVW 1600, and one Sony DSR-40 DVCAM deck.
Our nonlinear editing system consist of a Final Cut
pro system with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
Post
B - Description
Post
B contains a Final Cut Pro nonlinear editing system.
The decks include a DSR-40 DVCAM and betacam.
Post-Production
Room Rates
Post
A and Post B Post Production room rates for our editing
systems is available for rental at a half-day rate of
$300. You must use our editor, which is an additional
charge of $125 for the half day. "Half-day"
is equivalent to four or less hours. The total half-day
rate therefore is $450.
The
day-rate includes over four hours and up to 10 hours
(one-hour break for lunch) and is $600 for the Media
100 and $250 for the editor. The total day rate therefore
is $850.
You
may contact Stonestreet to discuss discounts for consecutive
day rentals of our post rooms.
In
the event that the client wishes Stonestreet to become
involved with editing and other creative decisions (in
addition to the normal input provided by our digital
editor), we impose a fee of $1,200 per day of editing.

Studios owns for rent a Sony DXC637 camera and a Sony
D30 camera, each dockable to our PVV1 betacam back or
our DVCAM back. In addition, we have two Arri light
kits and wireless microphones.
