STONESTREET INDEPENDENT STUDIO

The Stonestreet Screen Acting Workshop is conducted over two semesters, consisting of Workshop I (FTW I) and Workshop II (FTW II). A student may take either FTW I or II in the Fall, Spring or Summer Semesters. In addition to the foregoing, Stonestreet offers Independent Studio for those students who wish to work on independent film or television projects or intensively in small groups or individually after completing Workshop I and II.

Advanced Work

Offered in Fall, Spring and Summer
4 to 8 Points

For students who wish to continue working on film acting individually or in a very small group. The semester is tailored to the students needs. It is possible for a few select students to create an individual edited reel of the student's work.

Personal Showcase Reel
Instructor: Stonestreet Instructors and Guest Professionals

Students act in professionally lit and directed scenes which are professionally edited and assembled on a personal reel. This constitutes the Advanced Film Production class described in FTW II in addition to the opportunity to create a personal reel. The editing occurs after the semester is completed, and the student has the opportunity to work with one of our editors in creating this personal reel. This class is permitted with special permission. It is usually reserved for students who return for a third semester in Independent Studio, and is only available if the student takes a full eight points of credit.

Directing, Producing and Writing

Offered in Fall, Spring and Summer
4 to 8 Points

Students may write, direct and/or produce short scenes or film utilizing Stonestreet’s facilities. They are supervised and assisted by one of Stonestreet’s instructors and technicians.
