Unlike many acting programs that focus primarily on theater or classroom instruction, Stonestreet is designed specifically for the screen, preparing students for the realities of acting, creating, and producing in today’s film and television landscape.

At Stonestreet Studios, you won’t just learn screen acting — you’ll do it. Our full‑service film studio in Manhattan gives you:

  • Multi‑camera sets, lighting, sound, editing — industry tools.

  • Real production work: actors, writers, directors and producers collaborate on pilots, short films, series.

  • A unique partnership with NYU Tisch’s Drama Program — a sign of quality and a gateway to screen‑focused training.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Over six weeks you will:

  • Dive from audition to distribution: learn screen audition technique, shoot scenes, edit and deliver.

  • Work across genres and formats: dramatic, comedic, series, short‑form — you’ll stretch your range.

  • Collaborate: actors, writers, directors and producers work together — you build real creative relationships.

  • Build your portfolio: finished screen work, performance on‑camera, production credits you can show.

 

Whether you’re primarily an actor or you also write/direct/produce — you’ll leave ready for screen opportunities.​

WHO THIS IS FOR

This intensive is ideal if you:

  • Have completed primary training and want focused screen‑acting experience.

  • Are an actor, writer, director or producer committed to making screen work.

  • Want to train in a film studio environment (not just a classroom).

  • Are ready to take action: shoot, create, collaborate, and build your next step.

​Note: Available for NYU credit or non‑credit; professionals and international students welcome.

Format: 5 days per week studio + set time + post‑production.
